Food Auctions

food auctions

Aussie are familiar with the yearly auction of the first tray of mangoes that sells for charity auction and raises up to $50,000 for tray of mangoes!

In our food chain, auctions are common practise for producer to sell his products to the trade. Country towns have animal auctions from Cattle, sheep, Goats, pigs.

Now Farm Fresh Auctions will bring Food auctions to you.

Fish is sold world wide in local fishing town fish markets from Famous Tsuki Fish markets in Japan to California fish markets.

Vegetable auctions in most countries only let registered or bonded buyer buy vegetables.

But all these food auctions are controlled by the wholesale trade body and retailers are shut out from buying direct with farmers or growers.

Sellers and buyers in many cases have to be registered to work these food auctions.

In USA food auctions are held that sell direct to the public. Many of these auctions sell close to use by date and represent good value. Auction houses that used to sell second furniture are now auctioning off food to their customers.

Farm Fresh Auctions has proven system to bring buyers and growers together. In our system we note many buyers bid only on value or bargain products while other buyers will pay premium for quality products. As with auctions sometimes premium quality sells for bargain prices.

No Reserve Food auctions are fun and enjoyable so we plan to start our No Reserve auctions off on Saturday or Sunday evening from 5-8 pm which is best time for families so stock can be shipped direct to the buyer at start of the week.

Bidding wars to happen and very often we will see items sell for high prices in a bidding war
But we also notice that buyers who have had good experience with an auction will go back to that seller.

We can see that many farmers will offer their quality food product on farm fresh instead of n sending to supermarkets.

As example some fruit growers will have  a special tree  that say produces the tastiest n sweetest  fruit as it may be that the tree has grown in a very fertile spot or catches best rainfall due to soil or for what ever reason.

Now farmer receiving positive feed back from a buyer will always send this top product to his customers who are loyal to him.

Grower and buyer are both winners. only supermarkets will miss out on this quality produced food.
